Johnson, James

A hatmaker by trade, he was sent by Carlisle PM circuit in 1826 to evangelize Glasgow. He soon enlisted volunteers to mission Paisley, then moved to Dundee in 1835 and remained there as pastor of the Peter Street congregation, labouring daily among the poor and outcast.
