Scriven, Sister Miriam
? - 1924

She was a Sister in the NCH before entering the Wesley Deaconess Order in 1893. After four months in Pontefract she went out to Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1896. She remained there until 1907, doing splendid work during the Boer War. In 1908 she took up an appointment at Otley, but retired in 1915. She died at Bridgwater on 14 March 1924.
