Sewell, Mary
? - 1786

She became a Methodist at an early age and began her public ministry at the age of 20, preaching through Suffolk, Norfolk and Lincolnshire, often in the open air. She endured persecution, but won many converts. She is listed in the earliest register of the Great Yarmouth Circuit in 1785 among the local preachers and also as a class leader. She outran her strength and died on 29 October 1786.
