Attwood, Eunice, née Anderson

Vice-President in 2010, born in Spennymoor and educated at Spennymoor Comprehensive School. She transferred to Methodism from a Pentecostal church at an early age, and became a local preacher in 1992. After a career in nursing she was accepted for the diaconate in 1995 and trained on the Northern Ordination Course, gaining an M.Th. at Chester College. She was stationed part-time in the Farnworth circuit in 1999 and ordained and stationed in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne (Brunswick Central) circuit in 2001. She served also as a part-time tutor at the Wesley Study Centre in Durham (2006). In 1984 she married the Rev. John N. Attwood (e.m. 1991).
