Andrew Cory (1794-1833; e.m.1818), a BC itinerant who held various district and connexional offices and was President of the 1829 Conference, was drowned at St. Germans on 24 September 1833. Two of his sisters entered the itinerancy. Ann Cory (fl.1819-30) was sent with Catherine Reed to the Kent Mission, where they aroused much curiosity. In 1822 she went to London, and formed a number of societies there. Of her sister Sarah Cory (fl.1819-21) little is known. Two other members of the family later entered the BC ministry.
