Galliers, Brian James Newby
1931 - 2004; e.m.1954

Born on 30 April 1931 in Hammrsmith, London, he trained as an accountant. Then, after training for the ministry at Headingley College, he was Assistant Tutor there from 1955 to 1957. As Warden of the Wesley Deaconess Order from 1972 to 1980 he saw great changes as the Order became part of the Division of Ministries during the period of restructuring and then ceased recruiting in anticipation of the new Diaconal Order. He died on 10 June 2004.
