Graham, Charles
1750-1824; e.m. 1790

A native of Sligo, as a fluent Irish speaker he was called into the itinerant ministry in 1790 and sent to Kerry, where there was no Methodist witness. In 1799 with two others (James McQuigg and Gideon Ouseley) he was appointed as a General Missionary to take the gospel throughout the country. Their business was 'to preach, exhort, advise and pray' with people who were not already involved with Methodism. He and Ouseley worked as a team from 1799 to 1804, which were particularly fruitful years. He died on 23 April 1824.
