BC itinerant, born at Stratton, Cornwall on 15 November 1803. He served as Secretary of the Chapel Committee 1837-39, of the General Committee 1841-42 and of the Foreign Missions Committee 1855-56. He was Secretary of the Conference in 1837 and 1854 and President in 1840 and 1851. He died at Stonehouse, Devon on 17 November 1881.
