Mellor, Eleanor G.
1887-1957

Missionary toIndia, educated at Manchester University. Appointed to the Trichinopoly District in 1910, she served the MMS for over 40 years. In Trichinopoly City she took the lead in establishing a Girls' High School; in Dharapuram she pioneered a boarding school for village Christian girls. Returning home in 1935, she was a tutor at Kingsmead College preparing women missionary candidates for overseas service.
