Meyrick, Thomas
? - 1770

Born inCornwall, he was educated for the law before becoming an itinerant. In March 1745 he wrote at length to John Wesley about his spiritual state and was present at the Conference that year. He later obtained episcopal ordination and became a curate near Halifax (also keeping a school there). He fell from grace, but just before his death was appointed afternoon lecturer at Halifax parish church.
