WM itinerant who, after some years in Irish circuits, spent 10 years, 1790-1800, in the West Indies and was well thought of by Thomas Coke. He saw much success during his ministry on Nevis and established a small society on Grenada. By good management he brought persecution to an end on Tortola and he also worked on St Kitts. In 1794 he was sent to reopen the Mission on St Vincent, which had closed when Matthew Lumb had been imprisoned, and the following year was able to report a membership of 454.
