WM minister, born on 20 December 1814. He spent 41 of his 57 years in the ministry in theLiverpool District. He pioneered English-speaking Methodism on the North Wales coast, opening chapels in Llandudno, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Prestatyn, Conway and Penmaenmawr.His active interest in education led to the founding of the North Wales Wesleyan Methodist Schools Association and of Epworth College, Penrhos School and Rydal Mount School. He died at Colwyn Bay on 4 December 1895.
