Preston, Raymond
1861-1950; e.m. 1914

He was a successful evangelist in Britain for many years. In 1913 William G. Taylor invited him to conduct a mission at the Central Methodist Mission in Sydney, NSW. Received into the Australian ministry in 1914, he conducted successful missions in many places. Many of his converts entered the ministry. He had a fine tenor voice and was a forceful temperance advocate.
