BC minister, born at Modlin, Lanivery, Cornwall on 6 September 1808. He was Secretary of the Chapel Committee 1839-1841 and Secretary of the Conference 1844-1845, 1855-1856 and 1858. He was four times President of the Conference, in 1846, 1852, 1860 and 1866. He died at Stonehouse, Devonport on 16 September 1880.
