Musician, born at Halstead, Essex. She was educated at the Royal Academy of Music, London and taught in Scunthorpe, Stourbridge and the West Indies. Since returning to Britain she has led many 'Music in Worship' workshops and been an active member of the Methodist Church Music Society and the Hymn Society. She has been researching the origins of hymn tune names in 'Hymns and Psalms' and has published ten area booklets. She has also been Director of Music at Sevenoaks Methodist Church for many years.
