Bishop, Mary (Mrs Mills)
fl.1725-90

She ran two residential private schools, in Bath in the 1760s and 1770s and later at Keynsham from 1781 to c. 1789. She corresponded with John Wesley for about 15 years and he advised her on the running of her schools. She was also a class and band leader and Wesley consulted her about the state of the society at Bath. She married a widowed Quaker.
