, the Guardian
and between 1962 and 1990 in a column he wrote and illustrated for the Daily Telegraph
. Many drawings of chapels etc. also appeared in the Methodist Recorder
. A prolific writer, the best known of his many books, The London Nobody Knows
(1962) was made into a documentary film in 1967.
