PM minister, born on 22 November 1845 at Sheriff Hutton. He travelled in the Leeds and York District before becoming Book Steward, 1905-1910. He was President of the Conference in 1911 and a Director of PM Chapel Aid 1914-1925. He collapsed and died on 15 June 1925, during the Scarborough Conference.
