A little known early itinerant who was preaching in the Newcastle area in 1744 and 1746/47 and went to the Cheshire Circuit in 1748. John Bennet informs us that he was 'a young man from Cornwall' who became an itinerant at an early age, and that 'in Derbyshire, Cheshire and Lancashire he was very useful, drawing great multitudes after him wherever he went.' Due to constant ill health and over-exertion, he died at John Nelson's house, Birstall, on 6 January 1749.
