BC minister, born at Lanlivery, Cornwall on 24 December 1840. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16. He served as Secretary of the Chapel Committee 1881-1899, Book Steward 1888-1889 and 1891-1898, and secretary of the Conference in 1885. He was President of the Conference in 1886 and 1897. He died in Bristol on 4 March 1906.
