Founder of the Trust that bears her name, she has cerebral palsy and is blind. Despite these disabilities, she became a local preacher, a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and homeopath and is a lecturer, writer and broadcaster. She has been honoured for her work for the disabled and in 1977 was the subject of a 'This is Your Life' programme. She has written three autobiographical works, Undefeated (1980), Inner Vision (1990) and God's Rich Pattern (2012). The Lin Berwick Trust, set up in 1989, provides purpose-built holiday accommodation for people with disabilities and their families and carers, including Berwick Cottage in East Harling, Norfolk.
