Vice-President of the Conference 2014-15. Born at Seahouses, the daughter of the Revd J Victor Staton (e.m. 1942), she studied pharmacy at London University 1969-1972 and has worked as a pharmacist in hospital, industry, academic and community settings. She came On Note as a Local Preacher in 1984 and on Full Plan in 1987. From 1993-1996 she served as a Lay Worker in the Macclesfield Circuit. In 2007 she gained the BA in Theology and Religion (by distance learning) at Oxford Brookes University. She was a member of the Methodist Council from 2007 to 2011. She is currently a senior pharmacist for medical information and training at the Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and a member of the Trust's Council of Governors.
