Challenger, William
b.1860

MNC local preacher in the Barnsley Circuit, and later a missioner. Born at Kexborough, he attended the Darton Anglican Sunday School and went down the pit at seven. Converted c.1880, he was Herbert Silverwood's Sunday School teacher.
